I have submitted an obituary for Curt to the Corvallis Gazette Times, Quad City Times, and (Moline) Dispatch. The Dispatch already has it online at www.qconline.com. I'm not sure when it will appear in our paper.
Joan & family--Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers at this time. We just learned of Curt's passing through an email from Ingela Sarnquist in Sweden. I am sorry that we never had the privilege of knowing Curt as he surely must have been a fine man. We always enjoyed your Mom and Dad so much on the rare times when they visited the old family area here in Iowa between Aurelia and Galva. My Dad was Garland Hickey, your Mom's 1st cousin. I called LaVonne Gutel Robb with the news, and she sends her thoughts and prayers as well. She was 80 last October and Wayne is a little older. I cannot believe that my husband is 81 and I am 77.
